Do you have the driver disk for the Conextant driver install disk? If so,
just run the disk. If not do a Google search for the drivers for that modem,
and save the results to a location that you won't forget, and then run the
"Add new hardware wizard" in 98SE, install the drivers from that location.
Conextant drivers were not on my old version of 98SE, but they were included
on the recovery disk of the HP that I used to have. I copied those drivers
off that recovery set and saved them on a jump drive for a long time before
I finally got rid of the HP.

Hope that helps a bit, however others may have a bit more experience with
that particular modem.
