In order to enter the Bios Setup hold down F10 key during bootup.

If you just want to clear the CMOS setting then remove all batteries and
power for 5 minutes then restart with AC power and your battery still removed.
Follow screen directions.  Better check out FAQ's on the Compaq support site if
your at all unsure about how to do this proceedure.
