While I was out and about looking to see what I could see, I remembered
a site that had a free program to test for and possible discover a
impending "Click of Death."

This site is non other than Steve Gibson who is the author of SpinRite.
Don't know why I forgot about the fine work he does and the outstanding
information he has uncovered about the "Click" So, you may find the

venture into the site for other valuable information on this issue.
