I would like to thank the people that tried to help but I still have
the same problem trying to format a Pentium Pro 150 with Win 95,48 mgs
edo ram and a Western Digital 1.5g HD that is only about 1/4 full.
I get the message"insufficient memory to load system files" message.
I have checked config.sys and it had DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\HIMEM.SYS
/TESTMEM:OFF I got rid of the /TESTMEM:OFF but had the same results.
I ran FDISK and it said usage was 100X on the primary DOS partition.
I don't understand why it would be 100X or know if this is the
problem.
 Any help would be appreciated.
Mike Bridges
