My recently assembled box is going to get its first 2 PCI
periphs.  It is an Asus P2B with overclocked Celeron 300->450
which has 3 ISA slots and 4 PCI slots.  I know that there are
interrupt issues between the first PCI slot and the 3rd ISA slot
so I will try to install the Intel SVR III in the second PCI
slot.

The ISA slots hold Motorola ModemSurfR 28.8, ATI video card,
and Trantor T130 SCSI supporting scanner and CD-ROM.

The 28.8 is almost broken (it boggles at a router node, but a
workaround turned out to be using a voice phone disconnect
button on the same line to help modem over the 4th ring
hiccup of the router switch) but not yet.  Can the new PCI
winmodem and the old cohabit on this mb?  Current modem uses
Com 5! The new modem is a Boca V.90 winmodem (PCMag pick).

Are there any IRQ gottchas that I should be looking out for?
Or am I trying to peer too far ahead into the darkness?
