If the overlay is EZ-Drive or EZ-BIOS you will need to remove it.  To do that you need to get a copy of EZ-Drive/BIOS and make a bootable disk with it. To get a copy of version 9.04 do a google search for it. Follow the instructions for removing it when you boot from that disk.
