Perhaps this problem belongs in the PC Soft section, but as it involves
a
“new” hard drive install, I have placed it here.

Fdisked , formatted and proceeded to load WIN98 2nd. Made it to the
WIN98
Welcome Screen and received the error msg that WIN98 USER Setup file had

caused a GPF and I needed to close.

When I exited the screen to DOS I received an error message indicating
Standard Mode Bad Fault in MS DOS Extender” Never came across that one

before. It followed with a list of the Fault ID of 000D and a Stack
Dump
Error and additional addresses.

Has anyone ever seen this before! Any Ideas??????????

Thanks in Advance

Jim Sudela
