I have just purchased an A-Trend ATC-2445 VooDoo II card
as of yesterday and I continue to get the same error messages on
any 3Dfx game I try to start. The message is:

"Error : _Glide Init enviroment glide2x.dll expected voodoo none
detected"

I installed all the files from A-Trend's site, from 3Dfx's site, MS
DirectX 6.0 site, and continue to get the same results. I also
installed the card as the manual said. The 3D Voodoo II card is
in the PCI bus list via the Control Panel/System. Win98 sees the
card but I am not sure why none of the programs will recognize it.
The programs that I have tried without success are:

Quake II running in 3Dfx Open GL
Half Life with MiniGL installed
Tribes running 3Dfx Acceleration

If you have had any problems like this, please let me know what
I need to do to correct the problem.

This is the information about my system:

AMD K6-2 3Dnow, 300 Mhz
Window 98 O/S
Tyan Trinity 100 AT (T1590S) Motherboard with the
        VIA APOLLO VP3 Chipset
ATI Expert 98 8 Meg Video Card
64 Meg PC100 Memory
6.4 Gig Maxtor HD with 3 Gig available
BTC 36x CD Rom
Sound Blaster 16 PnP card

        Thank you for your time.
