Hi there,

I have built approximately 40 units for a nearby school and I am trying to set up Windows Me on the last one. When I try setting up Windows the system seems to take forever to do anything. It is so slow to respond that the windows progress meter says Time Remaining: 283 minutes. It wouldn't take that long on an old 486. I have used the Western Digital Utility to test the HDD, and it passes every test with flying colors. What else should I be looking for? Also, is there any really great Utility program for trouble shooting these things when there is no OS installed? The system will start installing the OS, but again, it is taking forever. All of the other 39 machines took only minutes. The systems are...

ASUS CUSI-M Mainboard (integrated)
Intel P-III 800 Mhz. CPU (socket 370)
Micron PC-133 256MB SDRAM
Western Digital 20G 7200rpm HDD
Jaton 56k PCI WinnCommII modem
Generic 52X CD-ROM drive
Standard 1.44 Floppy

PS Any help is greatly appreciated.
