Ahror,

For the editing software I recommend Adobe's Photoshop Elements which is
basically a stripped down Photoshop, but it also has features that aren't
found in Photoshop. I have an older version of Photoshop (3.0) and I like
Elements a lot better. Still very powerful and flexible but much cheaper.
$99 or if you qualify for an upgrade, $69. You can also download a time
limited evaluation version from Adobe to test it for yourself.
