Just a thought...If your modem is dialing out and starting a handshake it's
not a port problem.  If it was a port problem your modem wouldn't dial out
at all.  It is possible, however, that you have a modem configuration
problem.  Without more specific information, though, that will be very hard
to troubleshoot...
