I purchased a 2x SCSI CD recorder(4020i) from HP and it was terrible!  I

returned it 3 times and each time half the disks failed :-(  That was
back when the disks were very expensive! I spent more on coasters than
the recorder :-(  Finally I got one that has worked reliably for the
last 3
years!  But I spent a fortune to get there.  I read lots of other HP
users
with these problems in the news groups :-( I think HP sold a defective
product and was aware of it!
