Hi All,

I have just upgraded to AMD Duron 700 and Asus A7V MoBo (Not overclocked). I
have the Matrox G400 AGP card. The Motherboard support 4x AGP and the card
can run at 4x. I am using PC100 RAMs and the motherboard at 100MHz FSB. When
first installed the AGP card was running at 1x. I saw this with a Tweak
utility from Matrox website. With that utility I am running the card at 4x
now. Everything seems to be OK. But when I play a very simple game of
windows Me (Spider Solitare) the display jumbles up a little. But it does
not crush. Other 3D games are running VERY WELL!!

My question is, is there rule regarding what the AGP speed should be with
regard to the FSB or anything else? Any thoughts will be appreciated. Also,
can someone please point me out twards a good website dealing with properly
installing and running 3D cards.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Muhammad Arif Ullah
