Go in to the Display settings and install a monitor.
(Write down the old one that is listed as being used.)
Select the SVGA 800x600
This is in Advanced, Standard types.
Have your Windows disk handy just in case.
You always can cancel if you don't.
            See if that helps.
If not, the Video Adapter driver is wrong.
