>Useing WIN98, 256 Megs Ram I lost my sound.

   Try this:

    1. Look in Volume control to see if sound is muted.
    2. Checked speaker cable jacks and make sure you're in the right hole.
Use Media Player to play a looping sound while you do this.
    3. Take your speakers to another machine and make sure they worked.
    4. Check again for conflicts in Control Panel.
