Hello Everyone,

I see reference to Classic and Thunderbird slot A processors and was
wondering if they are interchangeable in slot A motherboards or does the
mobo have to support the Thunderbird technology for the cpu to work? In
particular, I have an ASUS K7V with VIA KX133 chipset. It just says it
supports up to 1 Ghz Athlon processors. I currently have a 500 Mhz Classic
Athlon in it, but want to upgrade.

Does anyone know if I can put the Thunderbird in this mobo?

Thanks in advance,

Dennis Thiel
