I'll be starting my DIY build in a few weeks and I'm searching up prices for
the HDs. I'd like to get a 60 to 80 GB drive, 7200 RPM. This computer will
do very little gaming but all other home PC chores. As this project is a
"prototype" I'd like to keep the total cost <$1000 so price is important but
not critical. I've had good experience with IBM and WD in the past. What
the current thinking on the best and most reliable HD in this market?
Also what's the difference between the OEM and retail box - cables and
supports?
