I am having trouble with my internet connection in linux RedHat 6.0.  I am using Gnome and KPPP for dialup.  When I dial in, the connection is made and the message "Connect LAPM compressed" appears in the log.  As well starting PPPD appears but nothing happens.  Everytime it hangs up at that.  What do I do to fix it?
