Yes, there is line-in control. to see it, open "volume control" --> "option" --> "advanced controls".

I have gone to the volume controls but I do not have an option for "line-in" and at Soundblaster's web site the specs indicate there is no line-in. A tech at our local Best Buy says he has a 128 and it has a line in. He recommended that I uninstall and reinstall the software. I di and there was no change. I have been able to use the microphone jack as a line in but the sound quality is not too good. Does anyone have any suggestions without me having to purchase another sound card? Thanks
