It's my opinion you're memory is being hogged by various spyware cookies, etc. in your system. Read & follow & implement AdAware from LavaSoft as per this link:

http://www.freelists.org/archives/freenet/03-2001/msg00014.html

Have you a cookie cutter & a firewall installed? If not, get them.

Subject: problem with partial lockup.

Hi all,
I am running Win 98se, on a AMD500, with 256 mb. the system has worked
well for a couple years. Now when I acess certain pages in search it seems to
not release the page and then search becomes unavailable until I reboot, the
same happens with trying to open Flowgo pages. Can anyone off a suggestion as
to what is happening or what I need to do to correct it.
