Robert,

A "low tech" solution to your problem that you may consider is your local print shop or your campus print shop.  Traditional, "pre-laser" printing techniques such as offset printing are ideal for this type of printing, can be completed quickly, yield high-quality results, and are relatively inexpensive.  If your current printer is doing everything else just fine, "outsourcing" this print job each time you need it may be your most cost effective solution.

Hello all,

I am looking for a recommendation on a printer that can handle a
considerable amount of card stock (25+ lb paper) for a run of around 500
sheets four times a year. We print diplomas at the end of each semester and
the printer we have been using has been jamming lately.

If anyone has any experience or any suggestions, I would really appreciate
them.
