Hi Will,
I've had the same problem with a number
of drivers, and the following tip might
help you as well: On the driver disk you
downloaded open the .INF file and check
the signature line. Sometimes they
mistakenly put in "$windows95$" if this
is the case change it to "$CHICAGO$",
save the file, overwriting the old .INF
file on the driver disk. Remove the
soundcard (and the gameport for that
matter) from the device manager. In the
WINDOWS\INF\ directory find the old .INF
file you previously installed and delete
it. If this is WIN95a it will probaly be
called OEMxxx.INF if you have more than
one you'll have to open each one to look
whats inside. After your done fire up
windows and when prompted for a driver
point it to the .INF file you made, and
you should be cooking. Hope this helps,
