I just purchased a Mad Dog 6 in 1 DVD rewriter.  I put it in my HP
computer, using WinXP 2.

The drive I took out was set to Cable Select.  When I first put the new
drive in it didn't work.  After lots of playing around, I found that the
drive works set on cable select or slave, but my other drive won't work.
It's listed as working properly under system devices.  I've tried
changing both of them all around, from cable select, to slave to master.
Nothing seems to work so both drives can be used.  The drive will open
and close, but can't be read or seen under My Computer.
