 My Question to you is:  What version of WinXP are you trying to Network?
I have heard that WinXP Home Edition WILL NOT network in Novell.

reinstall the XP OS?  Someone on this list may be able to help you solve
specific problems short of starting over. Give some details about what's
wrong, the OS of the computer(s) you're trying to network with,
