For several years I have had an irregular printing problem. I have had it through Me, 2000, and now XP. I have tried to find some reference to it on Microsoft's site
without luck to date. I have been receiving your outpourings for quite some time and have seen the responses your contributors receive, so am hoping someone out there knows the answer to my problem.

. Probably in about 30% of the times I try to print a document and go =
through File/Print, the print box does not appears but is in the Task =
bar. I click on the Task bar item and then end up with the original =
document again on the desktop. I click on the task bar again and the =
print box appears. This has happened through a rebuild, through Me, =
2000, and now with a new printer, a new computer with XP Home and XP Office it still =
happens. I am involved with a computer group of around 100 and this =
does not appear to be a very common problem but they may not be printing =
as much as I do.

With thanks, Colin Joyce
