Looking for information on purchase of USB connectors for mounting on a
motherbd. My Intel VS 440FX has a mounting pad with traces to it marked as
USB connector, but no connectors were installed.
The Intel Web Page at www.intel.com/design/motherbd/vs/vs_con.htm shows a
diagram of the bd connectors with 2 USB connectors at the location of the
mounting pad on my bd and states--optional connectors (when the bd includes
the feature) two USB connectors,--etc..
It appears my board has the provision for these connectors but they were
not provided on the bd at time of manufacture.
Would appreciate any information on source for connectors and comments on
whether they could be made active and useful in this manner.
