Anybody have any experiences with upgrading any of the etower machines from
 "emachines"?  Do they use proprietary components like Dell and Packard Bell?

The motherboards are Tri-Gem with a built in Cd-rom.  The built in Cdrom
sounds like it might be a problem upgrading already!
