A friend of mine recently purchased a Diamond S220 video card. It
works great. But, he says once in a while the video simply goes black
and the only way to get it back is to reboot (Win95). It never did this
with the old video card. He's a real novice and did this himself. I
told him I suspect the card may not be seated. And to shut the system
down, remove the card, and reinsert. Or, there is a loose wire in the
cable.

Did I advise him correctly? What else could it be?
