If you are using Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum this is a known issue.
Make sure you update you CD Burning software with the latest fixes from
Roxio, I think there is also a MS fix you may need. Roxio's web site should
have the information.

In addition I remember seeing this with nVidia graphics cards on the system.
I know there is an issue with Roxio running on a system with an Athlon
processer and a nVidia graphics card. They had a reg entry to fix that
issue.

If you are not using Roxio, I would contact your CD Burner vendor. They
might have more info on this.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Scsiport.sys Error

I recently installed XP Pro and a Sony CD burner with a burning prgogram
called BHA that came bundled with the drive.
I get an IRQ_less_than_ or_equal error and a blue screen that needs a hard
reboot to resolve when trying to run the burning program and the culprit
seems to be the scsiport.sys file. This is an Intel chip on a Tyan
Motherboard.
I've found several references to this error, but no fix. The BIOS revision
is current.
The burner is slave on the secondary channel, a Zip100 is master.
Anyone have any ideas?
