Windows 95 and AMD K6-II 400 cpus did not mix without a patch called
AMDUPD.  I
suggest you search the net and read the doc for AMDUPD which fixes the
booting
problem.

I agree,  I was trying to setup Win  95 with a K6-II 500 & had the same
errors on the first reboot. When I reduced the FSB down to 66 Mhz (around
330Mhz overall) it worked fine. (It took me 3 evenings to get the brainwave
to turn the FSB down) I heard about the patch after telling someone about
it a few days later.
