This board should have no problem with the GeForce 4 card, but make sure the
card is 4x compliant(mine is rated for 8x, but is 2x & 4x compliant), and
has 128mb memory.

Subject: [PCBUILD] GeForce 4 on Epox EP-8KTA+

Good day,

I have an Epox EP-8KTA+ motherboard, AGP 2.0 @ 2x and 4x, Duron 700,
running XP Pro, SP1; the board uses the Apollo KT133 chip set and the +
at the end of the part number indicates that the south bridge chip is
the B version. I want to get a bit more life out of this machine for my
son who uses it mainly to play an internet capable game called
America's Army. The new version of America's Army needs more horse power
than I have now so I am planning to up the CPU to a Duron 1200 and
replace the video card. I would like to know if this board will support
a GeForce 4 based video card and if not what is the fastest video card
that this motherboard will support.

Thanks,

Anthony Power
