The service depot mentioned that there was an "unofficial" recall on
DJ-530's. It seems there's a faulty component (I believe he said it's the
power switch). The individual mentioned that the DJ-530's simply started
bouncing back. This is what happened in my case, the power switch became
extremely uncooperative then simply let go completely.( It took about a
year before the first problems arose) When it came back....it was
DOA....when it came back after that the screen was
green....etc....etc....... I have at least 5 RMA slips for this monitor. I
hope the service rep was only blowing rumours into the wind because I never
heard about a recall....if he's right it may be that MAG is simply keeping
quiet about it and handling complaints on a case-by-case basis...hopefully
you guys won't have the same experience....my monitor has spent more time
on the road than on my desktop.... I had to purchase another monitor to get
me by since I haven't seen the mag for over a month.
