*Hello members,*

*Does anyone have any comments on the new Intel dual-core chips?  I have
been looking at the Dell XPS 400 with the Pentium D Processor 820, 3.20GHs.
I'm not involved in gaming but I do work with intensive graphics programs.
At present I'm using the Dell 8400 3.60GHs, with 2 Gigs of ram and I'm
looking for an upgrade. How would these two computers compare? Would there
be a difference in performance with the D chip? Might there be something
better in the near future to hit the market? *
