Do *NOT* install Grub or LILO on your WinXP drive. Doing so will remove the 
custom boot header that WinXP needs to boot. Using two separate drives and 
the BIOS Boot Order (F12) option (if your board supports it) is the best way 
to dual-boot between Linux and WinXP. I had to reinstall my system after 
learning the hard way.
