Dear List,

I'm tryin to find out how to help a friend that is having problems with the mic, says theres a lot of static and distortion, yet it sounds like all the settings software wise is set right.. she can also hear herself through the speakers (i've heard this isn't right)

But i can't figure what would cause all the distortion, and she checked her volume levels.. and it seems all is ok, yet the mic worked fine on a different computer, any suggestions? :)  thanks...
