Thank you to Joe and others for the feedback on printers. I did discover
that Minolta had the low cost color market to itself till HP introduced
their new machine. I have not seen the QMS offering, but it does seem worth
investigating. What I did learn, however, is that my perception of what a
color laser will produce. Turns out that the laser does not produce a photo
that is as good as that of inkjets. However, Xerox makes a color laser that
uses solid wax ink and produces very nice photo prints. I probably would
like one of those, except that it costs over $2000!

Just saw a QMS at Sam's club this weekend, the 2300 magnacolor - $693 with
USB/Parallel/ 10/100 ethernet. The samples looked great.

It's much smaller than the 2200 that was sitting next to it without the
ethernet for the same money.
