Hi Chuck,

It's possible if you have a JetDirect in the printer, which I'm assuming you
do.  There are two ways of networking an HP printer.  You can hook it up to
the LPT port of a computer and run Nprinter on the computer, or use an
Ethernet/Token Ring JetDirect card and plug it directly into the network.

With a JetDirect card, you just need to download HP's JetAdmin software.  It
will let you configure the JetDirect card and add an IP address to it.  The
details are involving and I haven't done it for a while so I couldn't give
you accurate step-by-step directions, so I would suggest reading the help
files to figure out the exacts.
