The Diamond cards I have are PCI, the boards I mentioned don't have AGP slots.
If those cards are still around they can't be that expensive now.

I'm not quite sure how the division of the AGP bus is on the LX chipset but on
the BX chipset is two thirds of the bus speed. See if you hae a setting in the
BIOS for 1/1 and 2/3 for the AGP bus. If you do, perhaps an AGP card and a
setting of 2/3 will work.
