I'm having a great deal of trouble trying to get a new computer to run.
Hardware is:
300watt power
AMD Duron 1Ghz
128 PC133 SDRam
Shuttle MK20 with sound and vga
20Gb HDD
CD and floppy

Right from the beginning of the install of Win98SE, there's been crash after
crash. For instance, this message came up not long after the first few
minutes of the install:
'Application Error - SUWIN caused a General Protection fault in module
Setup.dll @ 0019:46D0'.

There have been numerous BSOD's like:
'A fatal exception OE has occurred at 0028:C004E1D0 in VXD VCACHE(01) +
000001EC.  Press any key........then:

'Fatal exception 0D has occurred at 0246:014747FB...........'  Press any
key......then:

'Fatal exception 0D.........04FA:0147268B........

...and so on.  I've had messages I've never seen before:
'Windows encountered an error accessing the system registry.  Windows will
restart and repair the registry"
'Windows protection error. You need to restart your computer'
'An internal stack overflow has caused the session to be halted.  Change the
stacks setting in Config.sys and try again'

I've fdisked and reformatted the HDD and reinstalled Windows about 6 times,
and even tried 2 different versions of W98, one full and one upgrade.  I've
changed the ram for another stick and swapped the HDD for another fresh one.
The only things I haven't changed are the mobo and CPU, which luckily I've
got more of, as I've three of these systems to build.

Suggestions would be most welcome.
