Check the manual that came with the mobo. I also bought an ASUS board that
was capable of the usb/mouse/ir module but couldn't buy one at the time so I
took one of the regular usb connectors that ended in the single row header,
changed the placement of one wire and it worked like a charm. The manual
will tell you which pins on the mother board header go to the usb port. If
you're lucky, you may be able to mount both usb ports using one of the dual
header usb brackets.
