Hi Jeni,
You don't say why your pc won't boot from a CD rom, but I suspect that its
as simple as the boot order being wrong.
Try entering the bios next time you start the pc (often by holding down the
.del button as the computer starts) and look carefully through the screens
until you find the boot sequence.
It's probably set to boot in this order or similar:
A, C, CDrom
I generally change mine to:
CDrom, A, C
Make sure that if you change the sequence, you save the settings before you
exit.

This is the order in which the system will seek the drives to find data. I
generally have mine in that particular order because that then gives me the
option to boot from either CD or floppy. If neither is found (ie: if no
disks are present), then it will go on and boot from the C drive.
Most systems have the ability nowadays to boot from the CDrom, but get back
to the board if yours doesn't and someone will help you from there.

Hope this helps.
Michele Sayer
