You are right, ASUS wouldn't "official" release K7 mobo. K7M however is ASUS
mobo, but ASUS does NOT provide any support on it! The only way you can buy
this mobo is from oem, I would stay away from something without support.

I have pices of info on K7M, it is designed to compete with MSI, nothing else.
