  Dang!  I was sure that this was going to turn out to be use of 125 where 179
would be correct.

  This is the right-hand-end "T".  Your description had me looking at 194.

  179 clearly *ought* to line up with 218, 180, and 191, but you're finding that
it doesn't line up with 191.  This actually sounds kind of familiar from days of
laying out such "graphical characters" forms in DOS days.  I have an impression
that it had something to do with the fact that none of the lines on character
191 extends out the right side of the bounding character cell.

  Unfortunately, I can't seem to find anything to refresh my memory on this
issue.

  I believe that's just a printer-manufacturer technical term for "horizontal
tab".  Sorry.
