if you ask me, the best thing you can do is buy yourself a new mother

board that supports k6-2 and buy yourself a k6-2 @350. the whole mess

should not cost you more than $220. or you can buy the 400MHZ version but

i dont think you will like the price of the chip. i think the cpu is sold

for something like $250. its quite expensive but i think the price will

drop dramaticly in the next couple of weeks (wee all know how intel Loves

AMD).=20



$250-$350 is a lot more than what you want to pay for a cpu. but its not a

bad invesment at all. and remember that Games will run better than PII.
