Besides the possibility that your system will not take 16 MB SIMMs (check
your documentation), and if it does it may not take all the different kinds,
i.e. EDO vs. FPU, 4 X 32 vs. 4 X 36, as well as what was mentioned before
about mixing speeds - 60 vs 70 but since with only the new SIMMs in it halts
the machine, I would not suspect that mixing the speeds is the problem.
However, I would suspect one of the first two. Especially, since it only as
16 to start, it is probably an old (in computer life) machine.
