I have used Seagate, WD, IBM, Samsung and in my humble opinion, Quantum has been the most dependable.
I have, honestly, had occasion where the Quantum drives I have used should have had the snot knocked out of them, and they keep on working and never a bad sector.
I do and will use other drives, but in my opinion Quantum is the best for the money
