I am looking at a 15" Samsung LCD monitor.  I read somewhere that you need
a digital video card.  I can't seem to find anything that suggests if a
card is digital.

1.  Are they all digital now?  If not, what do you look for?
2.  A recommendation for a basic video card for basic surfing, word
processing etc.
3.  A recommendation for gamers.
