Contact your company's IT dept for access information. You
may be able to access via your current internet provider and
a password, VPN (virtual private network) may be utilized
for security, dial in directly thru a company modem, etc.
Many methods exist and have different hardware, software and
security issues, as well as ongoing costs. You may find
different methods are needed to access different parts of
the company system. Depending on your setup, you may be
able to operate your office desktop pc remotely from home.
If you're dialing in via phone line modem, $.10 a minute
adds up to some significant dollars pretty quickly if you
pay per minute to make that connection.
But it all starts with what is available from your company.
If you provide more information, someone on the list can
offer you more specific info.
