I was using my COMPAQ PRESARIO 5015 on Tuesday, February 20th.  I tried
to load a c.d. into my c.d. player and it wouldn’t start running,
therefore, I repeatedly pressed ctrl-alt-delete and then the screen went
black.

Upon re-booting, the password requester normally shows up, however, after
this re-boot, the screen stayed black

I have switched out keyboards (thinking that was the problem)..yet still
cannot see anything on my monitor.

Normally, on Compaq monitors, the power light is orange when it is turned
off or when idle, but green when it is running.  In the current scenario,
the power light stays orange, but will run green when I unplug it from
the computer.

Can you help me figure out what is wrong with my computer?
