Hello!

I have a client who recently purchased a P2-400 Dell (running NT 4 w/SP 4
workstation) with 128 ECC RAM, an 8G harddrive, and an internal (IDE) Zip
250 MB drive for use as a file server for a Foxpro application.

When writing to a 100MB Zip disk, 100 MB of data takes around 9 minutes.
When writing to a 250 MB disk, the same amount of data takes about 90
seconds. Has anyone one on the list seen or heard of a similar situation ?
Or would anyone have an idea why ?

Thank you for your time!
